Founded in 1986, Caldwell Flores Winters serves 200 California small school districts and offers consultation and assistance with bond election, financial advisory, facilities planning, and program management initiatives. Caldwell Flores Winters belongs to the Small School District Association (SSDA), which partners with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) to host the SSDA/ACSA Annual Spring Conference.
The conference acts as a central gathering point for small school district activities and draws district superintendents, chief business officers, and trustees from throughout the state. Scheduled for attendance flexibility, the conference offers a plethora of education workshops, which address critical issues facing the small school district community and review legislation affecting school operation and financial standing. Networking events also include a trade show featuring over 60 exhibitors and a discussion forum to share feedback on prosperous strategies and practices.
Held at the McClellan Conference Center in McClellan Park, California, the 33rd Annual Spring Conference will take place March 9-11, 2016, and will offer over 30 workshops, numerous keynote speeches, and a golf tournament. Participants will also be able to attend a dinner and reception, in addition to three pre-conference events.
